End of Vacation

After we got home from Moab we headed up to Bear Lake. In the morning we were daring and decided to take on Minnetonka Cave. BEGINNING

VACATION

So this last week Ben decided to surprise me with a mini vacation before he went back to school. It was amazing. The first night we stayed in Salt Lake and the next few days we stayed in Moab. I didn't know Utah had such beautiful scenery. It made me have a better realization of the creation of this earth. We went on a rafting trip which was my favorite! The guide let me float off the back of the raft holding onto a rope. I don't have pictures of that but here are some we did get.
This was the nicest bed and breakfast I have ever been to. We had our own deck that we ate dinner on and they even had a pool that we swam in at night.

Cow Girl

Ben bought Sadie a cowgirl hat while he was in Texas.

Our Little Fishy

Sadie has always loved water like her mom.

Squeezies loves to float on her back. She has done this little trick since she was 3 months old.

Concert at Ogden amphitheater

You know they are old when they take newspaper to the concert. We spend lots of time with Mom and (Default Dad) Gerald. Believe it or not old people are a lot of fun to double date with.
Andrea and I participated in a mothers competition on multi-tasking. I came in dead last. Ben says it's because he always changes Sadie's diapers and I need more practice.
It's Bambo Queen! Sadie loves her bambo so we have to take it everywhere.

Play Time

We had a play date with some of the kids in the ward This little boy is 4 days younger than Sadie. He crawls everywhere while Sadie sits and watches him. Hmm, that bow looks tasty!

This is Sadie's friend Taylor. Taylor is definitely a girly girl like her mom. Just look at her little hands crossed. Can you tell where I got my bow making skills from?

Weekly Update

We have had a very exciting week. Sunday I inherited 114 children. I am the Primary President of the brand new Meadows 2nd ward. To top that the first day in Primary I had Sister Lant the General Primary President of the church introduce herself to me and attend primary in our ward. I have had so much anxiety that I have made myself sick, but things are really coming together now and I am looking forward to serving the Lord. Ben went to Texas for a N.A.S.A. convention at the beginning of the week. I received a phone call before his plane landed. I was told they were trying to find a flight home for him, because the convention had been canceled due to a hurricane. So he returned the next morning. How is that for a first business trip? As for Sadie she is doing great! Making her parents smile every day.

Sueezies being squeezie

Who can resist those squeezie cheeks?! She definitely has some serious baby blues!
