They can all speak for themselves!

I refuse to be his voice...
 He will speak for himself!

I am so excited for the opportunity I have had in teaching the concepts of PODD. I went to go meet Spencer's preschool teacher and happened to run into Debbie Manning who is head of the  Augmentative team in Box Elder County. Come to find out she has been wanting to implement PODD for a long time. She went to Closing the Gap conference a few years ago. Since then it has been an amazing process. I have done a couple PODD training's and have implemented it in Sawyer's classroom with several other children. I am now working on implementing it in all the preschool classes in the district. After we get it in place with the preschools classes we will then move on to the elementary schools. The smile on these children's faces when they say their first word makes everything worth it.

Royalty and Romance

Ben and I went to a Royalty and Romance Conference for our 10 year anniversary. We got a hotel for a couple of nights and really enjoyed our time together. Jeremy and Julie met up with us for some of the time. Unfortunately Ben got really sick and had to go home the last day, but I still went and enjoyed it as much as I could without him.

I am so grateful to have this man in my life. He is a wonderful husband and father. I know that Heavenly Father has a big plan for us and I know as we follow Gods plan for us we will continue to have the joy and happiness that we have experienced throughout the years.

Spencer loving school

Sweet little Spencer Bean loves school. He will get home and not take off his backpack till it is time for bed. This is him making use of paper by using it to slide on the floor.

Camping Out

Ben was a trooper and set up the tent for the kids to spend one last night camping in Grandma Mae's backyard. I was just grateful that the kids got the experience while I slept in my nice comfy bed.

County Fair

Sawyer and I had fun talking about all the animals at the fair.

We had a blast dancing with the kids. We saw some dance moves from Sadie that we never knew she had.

Creative Sadie

Sadie decided to make herself a collection of leaves
Dad and Grandma helped her label all the leaves.
This is what happens when we don't play electronics all day.

Jersey Calves

My brother Brian decided to raise 7 Jersey Calves. This has taken a lot of hard work and dedication from his whole family. They have to bottle feed them morning and night. Sadie his her
daddy's girl and loves the idea of farming. She has got skills when it comes to feeding the cows.
