Sweet Sadie Girl

I am so grateful for my sweet Sadie. It has been a rough go this last week. I had a gallbladder attack and was very sick. Sadie made this special note for me to help me feel better.

Back

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Grandma decided she wanted to be like a kid again and show the kids how to make snow angels.
I had such a great time making homemade chocolates with Grandma Kathy this year. I did peppermint, toffee, nut balls, and caramels.

Here Comes Santa Claus

Santa told Ben better luck next year!
Santa loves Grandma Mae. She got the first greeting from him at the word party.
Sawyer has decided he wants to be like the other kids and sit at the table. He will come in from school and start taking food off of the daycare children's plates.
Letting Santa know exactly what he wants for Christmas!
Spencer loves the daycare kids. His favorite thing is finding mischievous ways to play with them. He hands out gum, hides in closets, and tries to sneak them all outside. He takes charge and expects all of the children to follow his lead.

Sawyer's happy place

Sawyer likes to hang out in this seat. He is creative in finding ways to get comfortable.

Kids just want to have fun!

Growing Up

My little sweetheart is growing up! She is sitting up well and rolling all over the house. She also loves to say da, da!

Sierra AKA Jean Bug

Sweet "Jean Bug" this little girl is all hands. She gets very upset if she can't touch everything she sees.
 Chillin with the Kendrick.

Jeppsen Family Thanksgiving

These kiddos had a blast playing basketball and chasing each other around the gym.

Shrek the Musical

Sadie was in her first play of Shrek the Musical. She played the character of Gingy and Piggy. She did a wonderful job and really captivated the audience.

Ms. Piggy

Sadie is playing in Shrek the Musical. She is Gingy and Piggy. She tried on her new pig costume and decided to eat like one.

Sierra Jean

Grandpa is getting used to Sierra.

The joys of prune juice! Little Jean Bug was really backed up and we took care of it as you can see. She is now much happier.
She can't get a break. Sierra has been having respiratory problems for over a month now. I thought it would go away but that wasn't the case. I took her to the doctor and we did nebulizer treatments for a week with no improvement. She ended up having to take steroids. She still is raspy, but much better.

Sawyer just being a kid

Sawyer had his first real conversation the other day with his therapist Carli. Over lunch he told her "vacation". She said yes Sawyer you are right I went on a vacation. I swam in a pool on my vacation and Sawyer said "water". After that he began to tell her about his weekend. He said "trick or treat", "stroller". Letting her know that he went trick or treating in his stroller. He went on to tell her about the "spin wheel" game he played at the school carnival. Then he talked about seeing his friend "Dakota". He told her that he got a "hair cut" and finished with saying "Carli", "baby". Recognizing that she is pregnant. If he happen to tell these things to a random person they may not understand, but we knew exactly what he was communicating. I am in awe when I think of all the things he is understanding in the world around him.

Sawyer has an obsession with little girls and at Grandma's house there is plenty of them. This is our way of keeping him away from them. I put him in and he said "I don't like this", "rude", "boring".
Sawyer stands at the end of the driveway all by himself waiting for the bus. I watch out the door and go out when it comes to help him get on.
We are now upgrading to a 60 icon per page PODD Compass app. I finally got it customized enough that I feel like I can start modeling. This is Sawyer exploring with his current communication 20 icon per page and his new PODD Compass app. He is loving it already!

Crazy Days

Crazy hat, glasses, and sock day!

                                   Crazy Hair Day!

                                              Some of Sadie's fun creations.

Fire Truck

Spencer was so excited about the fire trucks at the trunk or treat. The firemen let him and Sadie get into the truck and try it out.

Halloween

Our sweet little Gingerbread family! Sadie is going to be the Gingerbread man in her up coming play Shrek the musical. I had to make her costume for this and decided it would be fun to be the Gingerbread family for Halloween. The costumes where simple and I had fun making them.

Sawyer BIG 6

Sawyer had a fun birthday filled with friends and family.
We thought it would be fun for Sawyer to help make his own cake. He didn't like the idea so much.
Check out this amazing cake. We had a rough week and ended up in the ER at Primary Children's hospital. We spent the week doing a bowel cleanse. Because of this we thought it would be fun to have a poop party. Of course I did make another appetizing cake for us to eat.
Happy Birthday Big Boy. Sawyer was still recovering from the cleanse and he didn't feel like sticking around for cake. So we celebrated his birthday with him playing and us eating cake.
