Potty

Sadie is a champ. Today she went pee twice and poo on her new potty! She flushed it down and said potty. Her mother couldn't be more proud of her.

Potty Training?

I know you are all thinking I'm CRAZY! I'll have to prove you wrong on that one. I bought this new toilet seat today. My sweet impressive 16 month old baby girl went pee on it! We were so proud of her. She went pee and then kept saying excited (A-cited). That is her new favorite word her dad taught her. I'm teaching her the sign for potty so she can comprehend a little better of what we are trying to accomplish. She is the cutest thing ever! It is kind of strange she can only take a few steps, but she can go potty on the toilet. I'll definitely take the toilet thing over walking.

Easter at Grandma Carr's

She was so cute. Since the little one still doesn't walk without mommy's hand. She held the basket in one hand and my hand in the other. She would walk to an egg put the basket down, pick up the egg put it into the basket, then pick up the basket and walk to the next one holding on to my hand. We were so proud of her.

My mom put me in charge of helping all the grand kids color their Easter eggs. We had fun making a mess and the eggs turned out beautiful.

EASTER at Grandma Jeppsen's

We had our first Easter egg hunt at Grandma Jeppsen's. With our cousins.

I didn't know Sadie would love the easter egg hunt so much. I thought she might not understand, but she picked up the concept quickly. After Ben helping her with the first one she went for it. Putting all the eggs she could find in her basket. I think her favorite part is when she figured out how to open them and get the candy. She found a caramel kiss and put it in her mouth. When I realized she had something I did the usually mouth swap only to find a foil wrapper. She had sucked all the chocolate and caramel out of it. Later she saw another caramel kiss and had a fit that I wouldn't give it to her. It was the funnest Easter I have ever had. It is so much funner when you have kids that enjoy it. The best thing about this Easter is that Sadie loves the eggs and the basket she has entertained herself for hours with them.

Having fun

Sadie loves playing with her cousins Skyler and Caden.

UPDATE

Things are going good at the Jeppsen residents. We are learning a lot in our new callings. Ben is involved with the 11 year old scouts and me with the 8 year old scouts. Ben also team teaches in primary with another guy. I am now 10 weeks today. Feeling pretty good. My only complaint is I'm so tired. I sleep a lot. Thankfully Sadie lets me. She sleeps 11-12 hours at night and takes a 3 hour nap. So I'm enjoying my sleep while I can. I'm sure the next time around it won't be so easy. I haven't thrown up yet so I'm crossing my fingers. Ben still has a job at ATK. He is loving working out there.

Sadie's first KISS!

We went to our friends for Family Home Evening. It was so much fun we did smores out in the fire pit at Rue and Heidi Larsen. This is their little boy Owen. Him and Sadie became good friends.
Look at these cute friends they couldn't do anything wrong???

You are lookin cute tonight!

Hey at least they aren't kissing cousins!

Some of my favorite things

Sadie loves her doll. She pats it's back and takes good care of it. She has to have her books in hand too. She spends lots of her days flipping through book pages and telling me all the stories.
