Spencer is officially my first child that I had to call the police on. To be honest it isn't much of a surprise. This child is full of mischief. As if coloring on the couch with permanent marker, smearing my makeup all over, trying to cross the street to go to the neighbors, sneaking into every piece of candy he can find, taking the knifes out of the dishwasher to play with, and getting into the van to open the garage with the garage opener in order to escape isn't enough.
Yesterday I was getting the boys into the van to take Sawyer to preschool and my sweet little Spencer got in and starting playing with buttons as usually. After he made it to the driver seat I grabbed him and shut the door only to realize that he had locked the van. I had already put Sawyer in and the keys were in the ignition. So Sawyer was now locked in the van. I had to call the police and they came and saved the day.

Weber State Bowling
My mom was so kind to rent out the Weber State bowling alley so that the whole family could enjoy a night of bowling and fun. Spencer loved it! He would wave goodbye to the ball as it went down the lane.
Sadie's lunch
I told Sadie she could make her own lunch and this is what she came up with. A left over piece of pizza topped with some fruit.
Potty training X 2
I used to think that Sawyer wouldn't be able to do so many things, but he has proved me wrong over and over again. Our
sweet little boy is starting to potty train. I have randomly put him on
the potty and he will go, but just this last week he was constipated so
we would put him on the potty every hour and he kept his diaper dry!
Every time we put him on the potty he goes pee. It is potty training
times 2 around here with both the boys! Spencer has been ready to be
potty trained for awhile. He signs potty and goes consistently on the
potty. I just haven't pushed it because I wasn't ready to have a child
be potty trained. I know that sounds weird, but when you have a busy
schedule it is not always easy to put a child on the potty every hour.

Rare Disease Day
Happy Rare Disease day!
We may not have
answers and we may never get them, but I wouldn't change a thing about
this kid. We are so grateful to have his sweet spirit in our home. We
truly are blessed. May we all find the joy in our journey as we love and care for these special spirits.
For those of you that may not know. Sawyer was originally diagnosed with Autism, but as he continued to grow it has become more apparent that it is so much more. He does have some behaviors and characteristics of autism, but there is an underlying condition. Because of this we have done genetic testing and still have no answers. We are not the only ones that do not have answers. There are families all over the world still searching for answers. Unfortunately they may never get them. Every day new advances are being made in genetic testing. Through these advances many families that did not have answers have gotten them after years and years of waiting.

Ice Skating lessons and more
Sadie has been begging more for a long time to take ice skating lessons. I have finally found the time to make it happen. I have taught Sadie that "winners never quit". She fell several times and got up and kept going every time. When it was time to get off the ice she didn't want to and kept skating. She told me she loved it and wanted to do it again. I am so proud of her for not quitting.
I think I play with these blocks as much as the kids. Sadie made herself a place to have lunch with the blocks.
Sawyer's new preschool
I am so grateful for this amazing lady. She has taken Sawyer in as her own and has loved and cared for him since he has entered preschool. She truly makes a difference in all of this children's life. I know I can be a little overbearing, but she never said no and was always willing to do whatever I felt was best for Sawyer. Even if it meant learing PODD! Sawyer has fallen in love with her. He looks at her like she is his girlfriend.
Recently an opening became available at another preschool that provides more one on one services. There is one teacher and five assistance with only five children. Because of this Sawyer will get one on one all day at preschool with an hour of direct instruction each day. This was a hard decision to make, but we know it is what is best for Sawyer.
Love this little boy!
Disney on Ice
Last minute Sadie decided she needed a princess dress to wear to Disney on Ice. I called my neighbor and not long after she brought over this beautiful dress she made.
The show was amazing! Sadie sat in awe the whole time. We will definitely go again.
