The Property (Blacksmith Fork)

Cousins having fun together.Uncle Danny helping Sawyer go down the slide.

Sadie of course could not get enough of the slides and water.

Willard Bay

We went boating with my sister Heidi and her family at Willard Bay. The kids loved it! Sadie rode on the tube for the first time and Sawyer was so relaxed that he fell asleep. Come to find out boating is great therapy for the kid. I also got up on the water skis for the first time.

My Sweet Kids

Couldn't resist these two cheesy kids!

Hidden Meadows

This last week we ventured out to go camping at my dads property.

Mandi and KaLaya joined us for the adventure. This is a picture of the packed vehicle. There wasn't much room for anything else.

On our way up we had to stop and play in the snow.

Grandma Kathy helping Sadie go potty in the outdoors.

There is nothing like the made up portable potty. When I was a kid my dad made one of these and we would take it with us every time we went on a vacation. This brought back some memories!

Big Boy

Sawyer has been cruising the furniture for a few weeks now. The other day he pulled himself up to the couch. We were so proud of him. I think working on the stairs with him has really helped him get to this point. He also started signing in the last couple of weeks. He signs more, please, and drink. He amazes us every day with his ability to learn.

First Pickings

Sadie and Ben love to go and pick the fresh food out of the garden. This is the first squash of the year.

Sadie Tumbling

Sadie took tumbling for the first time this year and loved it! She can now do what she calls a "Tuck & Roll". It is so adorable.

Willard 4th of July

Our Family

The Parade

It wouldn't be the 4th of July without a ride in the airplanes.

Sawyer Learning

We have been working really hard with Sawyer lately. He amazes me every day with his ability to learn. We have several different therapist that come in to help us out. We have put him on a very aggressive sensory schedule and he is showing tons of improvement in his ability to focus and learn new tasks. This is him focusing on his toy and putting the ball in it.

When we first started with this star toy Sawyer would get so frustrated and scream and cry, but after a few weeks of working with him he does awesome! He will put the stars on several times in one sitting.

Enjoying Life

This is Sadie's very first bike. She is a little unstable, but I'm sure she will get used to it.

Sadie and Dad picking pees in the garden. Pees our like a summer treat for these two. They eat them right out of the pod all day!

Loving Summer

Look at this girl taking after her mother and kicking balls. This is our sprinkler toy for the kids to get wet, but Sadie finds more fun in kicking it. This is our new trampoline! I put this trampoline up by myself, because Ben has been crazy busy with work and redoing all the electrical work at my dads house.
Sadie really enjoys getting wet on it. As you can see Sawyer has not been able to enjoy the fun, because he can't get any water in his ears for 3 weeks after his surgery.

It wouldn't be Sawyer if he didn't have to check out the texture of something new. Sawyer loving life!

Sawyer's Surgery

Sawyer got tubes in his ears a couple weeks ago. He was not happy waking up after surgery. After an hour he finally settled down. He is such a strong little boy.

Bear Lake

It has become a tradition for our family to go to Bear Lake over memorial weekend. It was a bit chilli, but we still had fun. I took Sadie swimming in the heated swimming pool. We flew kites, miniatured golfed, and spent some time with family.

Sawyer chillin in the stroller at the golf course.

Me trying to help Sadie golf. At each hole she would put the ball right next to the hole and hit it in.

Sand Box

Sadie loves to play in sand. She called Grandpa Gerald and asked him if he would bring sand for her boat. She wanted to call him again and again to remind him. Apparently her persistence worked. He had sand in the boat the very next day.

Grandpa showing Sadie how to make sand castles.

Dinosaur Park

I'm so glad Daylon is in pre-school, because every time his pre-school has a field trip we join in the fun. The kids had tons of fun at the Dinosaur Park!

This time Sadie wasn't scared of the dinosaurs and that was nice.
