I decided to be induced with Spencer the day prior to my due date. They started me at about 3:30 pm on February 6th. I wanted to try to go natural, but in the end decided the epidural was for me. After several hours of trying to relax from contractions I could no longer take it. Spencer's head was laying right on my tail bone and there isn't a way to really relax your tail bone. I received my epidural and soon after my water broke and labor progressed well. He arrived early in the morning. We were very exhausted, but it was all worth it to have this new sweet spirit in our home.
